What are your thoughts on organizations rescuing dogs from the dog meat trade?

I've recently been learning more about rescue organizations that work on the front lines to save dogs from the dog meat trade in parts of Asia.

Groups such as No Dogs Left Behind and other international rescues often share stories of dogs being rescued from trafficking networks, slaughterhouses, and illegal transport operations.

For those who follow animal welfare issues, what are your thoughts on these rescue efforts?

Do you think enough attention is being given to this issue globally?
